Cycling in the Cotswolds

With so much beautiful countryside, why not escape into the heart of the Cotswolds under your own stream. The area offers a wealth of quiet country lanes that will take you over rivers, past lavender fields and through attractive villages. Stop off for refreshment in one of the characterful pubs along the way or pack a picnic to enjoy wherever the view takes you.

Bicycle Hire Shops often provide foldaway cycle maps for riders of all abilities and ages which indicate a circular network of safe, quiet country lanes, which interconnect not only with the market towns and surrounding villages, but railway stations as well as Visitor Attractions. Many are priced on an hour by hour basis and the hire charge will include helmets, safety clothing, repair kits, pumps and padlocks. For an additional cost, some Hire Shops will deliver the Bicycles to your chosen location and collect them when you have finished.

There are Bicycle Hire Shops all over the Cotswolds many based in and around the villages and market towns such as Bibury, Bourton-on-the-Water, Chipping Campden, Moreton-in-Marsh, Cotswolds Water Park and Cirencester.
